The Brecker Brothers was the musical duo of the late Michael Brecker (saxophone and EWI) and Randy Brecker (trumpet and flugelhorn), who recorded several commercially successful jazz fusion albums together in the 1970s, 1990s, and 2000s. The two played together as session musicians on albums such as Parliament's Mothership Connection and also had prolific recording careers separately.

  • Michael was surprisingly deep and thoughtful musician. He had demonstrated excellent improvisational skills. He had got the fine style, taste and refinement.

  • Heavy Metal Be-Bop is one of the best bebop albums I've heard in my life! I really loved it! Got more of their albums and I must say I've very impressed with them overall! :D
  • All Brilliant stuff , 1st heard them when I had the record "Back to Back" in the 70's :-) plus I'm a Sax player and EWI player, loved Michael Brecker since I was a kid may he rest in peace .........
  • Not too often do you get two masters that can well stand on their own - let alone stand next to each other. WOW! never got to see them perform, but heard them recorded aplenty. They both play from the inside out!
