Teresinha Maria Miranda Espíndola, more known as Tetê Espíndola (Campo Grande, March 11, 1954) is a singer, composer and Brazilian instrumentalist. Now she lives in Moema, São Paulo.
Essentially an experimental singer/songwriter, Tetê Espíndola has been praised by vanguard critics, musicians, and intellectuals. Characterized by ecological concerns, her performances utilize elements of both acoustic and electronic settings.
She is also known as her association with the vanguardist Arrigo Barnabé, which would be instrumental for her future path in the area that could appreciate her rare vocal talent.
