The intro tapping riff sounds similar to one of the tapping riffs in 1,000 Eyes by Death, which is awesome.

Genre labeling is confusing. When Testament uses this verse riff style, its definitely thrash. When Swedish bands use riffs like that, its called Melodic Death Metal, and when American bands newer than 2000 uses riffs like that, they are called Metalcore. Don't they all track back to Thrash influences?!

Almost 30 years later, this song could be a "Greatest Hit" of the entire Testament catalog.
