    i miss Dan too. In defense of the new guy, he had a lot to fill in short amount of time. Also, it's sometimes best to perform your own version than to mimic another musician. The movie Crossroads portrayed this well during the guitar duel: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2532824540210704919 (skip to 4:14) With this in mind, I have higher expectations on new releases where he can do his own thing from the start.

    I saw these guys with the new singer and had no idea it was a different guy (only just started listening to them a few days before the show). He did a great job, but it seems like he makes the songs too much his own instead of keeping it true to the originals in the recorded versions. He's not bad, but I do like the old singer better on these songs. I'd like to see how the new guy is on their new material. I can see that being a better fit.
