Terrible Matt & Dan was a couple of consecutive nights where Dan Engle and Matthew Clower were doing some jazz standard recordings. This album is the answer to the question, “What would happen if we switched instruments and left the mixer on?”
There may or may not have been alcohol or other agents involved.
Dan Engle plays alto sax, tenor sax, bari sax, soprano sax, etc. In this Album, he did get to play the bari sax, but he spent most of his time doing vocals and playing keyboard and randomized percussion.
As for Matthew Clower, he’s a piano/keyboard player. Unfortunately, he spent nearly all his time with this album on the alto sax and tenor sax.

We finally found an outlet for intentionally singing quarter-tones.
