This one makes me think more of 80s pop than Marquee Moon.

I think because Adventure is more carefully crafted and polished, its a nice development for the band. However, its not a good ending. If they had recorded into the 80's and continued changing their sound, it could have been an intriguing stepping stone. As it is though, Adventure has to remain great record that is doomed purely because of the greatness of its predecessor.

Marquee Moon has the better songs, but I like Adventure better as an album.

i finally got around to buying this, and i'm not disappointed at all. their more subdued songs are just as excellent as their marquee moon tracks.

So underrated. Marquee Moon is better, but just slightly.

As Linus Van Pelt once put it: "It's not bad at all, really. Maybe it just needs a little love."

This album is amazing. At times I like it more than 'Marquee Moon.' I mean, "Glory," "Careful," "Adventure" "Ain't That Nothin'," "The Dream's Dream." Fantastic - Television at their very best!

It's wrong to expect another Marquee Moon, it's impossible to improve. But this album is quite decent, and not a real let down for me.

Great follow up to Marquee Moon. I enjoy the subtler side of the band. <3

Glory and Foxhole are both excellent, and the rest is average at worst.
