imho arguably the best "remix" of the 80's for ANY band. it's 1984 the year of fgth paul morley yada let us thank trevor horn for the limited edition, tears for fears "weakest" single but such a brave move, if in indeed it was (it wasn't). though "shout" wasn't ready at the time so the record company went with this. the failure of "the way you are" set the band on tenderhooks. 3 top 5 hits followed by a "failure" and bullying pushed orzabal back into the studio with relucant pressure. if ever proof was needed of his talent, he came up with this. a semi-deliberate "up yours" at mercury, with a lot of credit to part band member, and the very talented keybordist rich man Ian Stanley. A big change-round from their previous style. but no surprise to his fans it worked. a 7" a pic disc a 12" and this, the subime 12" remix helped milk / enforce the beginnings of the remix era. we cannot be more so glad. an epic, 5 stars.
