Could you imagine a track this experimental being released by a band in its prime (as Tears For Fears was in 1989) today?

hmm, interesting on it's own, but I understand why it was not originally included on the album, it just does not fit.

I bought this on 7" single as Johnny Panic And The Bible Of Dreams - "Johnny Panic And The Bible Of Dreams" back in the day, as I recall Tear for Fears used the alias for this single release.

Another B-side classic originally on the b/w of "Advice For The Young At Heart" single, later included on their B-Side collection album "Martial, Saturnine and Lunatic" however "Seeds Of Love" was re-released with bonus tracks which now includes a slightly longer version of "Johnny Panic & The Bible of Dreams."

The single was called 'Sowing the Seeds of Love', the album was called 'The Seeds of Love. So this song was, as CarolineAz said, NOT on the album 'The Seeds of Love', and therefore the information on Last FM is incorrect.

This was a B side on the Seeds of Love single. I had it on vinyl. Pretty unique sounding even all these years later.

I really wish they'd recorded more trip-hop tracks. This is awesome.

I only recently found out it was Tears for fears, i always loved this song and was drawn because of the Sylvia Plath title of the song.

One question: Who sings the rap part in this song? Sounds like Neneh Cherry to me, but I've found nothing about it.
