Like the previous album, Elemental, it is essentially a solo effort by Roland Orzabal—neither album being made with the involvement of Curt Smith who had left the band at that time. The album, according to Orzabal, has a recurring theme of familial relationships and delves into his own Spanish heritage. The album's title was mooted as far back as the 1980s… read more

An epic album that rocks! The way the typical fans underrate it amuses me. Just like Queensryche's 90s alternative efforts piss some people off :) Oh BTW the guy on the bass truly shines here!

Not my favourite but have few songs that get closer to my heart, just like Me and My Big Ideas with Oleta Adams.

Extremely underrated album, my favourite TFF album. Although you could argue it wasnt really a TFF record (as Curt Smith left before the previous Elemental album) but more of a solo effort by Roland Orzabal, I would say it is the best Tears For Fears album, both lyrically and musically. If you think this album is underrated, go check out Roland's solo album 'Tomcats Screaming Outside'.
