20. Battlefield - Jordin Sparks
When I first got this album I was really lovin' it. However, in retrospect I kinda think that I loved it so much because there were no other good albums out at the time :/ Despite this, I still believe it was a strong effort from Jordin, who has definitely improved since her debut. I'm still stunned that the lead single and the album didn't do as well as many predicted!
Favourite Songs: Walking on Snow, No Parade, Battlefield
19. Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel - Mariah Carey
Not my favourite album from Mariah, and it hasn't produced many hits and no number ones - which is usually expected from her. But still this is an album that I enjoy and will continue until she releases her next album!
Favourite Songs: It's a Wrap, I Want to Know What Love Is, Standing O
18. 3 Words - Cheryl Cole
I probably dislike more of the songs on this album than I actually like. …

"Even country music needs its own Britney Spears." That's what the store clerk who check me out said about the album when I bought it. I was gonna spout off a quick reply, something like 'thanks but no thanks for your opinion,' but then I thought about it: If Britney represents her values to her fans thru singing and songwriting, then sure Taylor Swift represents her values to her fans in the same way ... so I let the comment pass.
Bursting onto the scene not very long ago (this Fearless album is only her 2nd), Taylor has quickly become a voice of empowerment for young women (and those young sexualy confused farm boys) everywhere. Her lyrics are real -- based on her own "fearless" living -- and she deserves every ounce of recognition she's receiving in both the country and pop music communities.
Fearless (4 out of 5)
"You take my hand and drag me headfirst fearless." Love, like life, is all about taking chances.
