Taylor Dayne (real name Leslie Wunderman), (born on March 7, 1962 in Baldwin, Nassau County, New York), is a successful American pop vocalist and dance artist. Dayne came to prominence in the late 1980s and remained at the top of the charts through the 1990s. She released a new album “satisfied” in February this year. “Beautiful” the first single hit number 1 in the American dance charts and is currently in the top 30 and rising on the A/C chart. The second single, the power ballad “Crash” is on sale now on mp3.

Beautiful voice, she doesn't sound anything remotely like she looks. All the years as a kid when I heard this song I always thought it was a "bigger" black woman singing, which is cool - I have Aretha and Patti LaBelle in my library too. Suffice it to say I just about fell over when I saw one of her album covers.
