Fantastic album, and one that actually has melody, listen carefully and you will hear it in many places. Compared for example to Cluster's excellent debut album, Zeit has far more melody, whereas Cluster is focused almost purely on sound texture.

The album I lost my musical virginity to. I had sober hallucinations while listening to this at night. Birth Of The Liquid Plejades to me is one of the most beautiful recordings of all time. Listen with headphones while alone on a nice cold night.
