The songs are good, just not on this particular album. Stop Making Sense has versions I'd rather regard as official versions. The female backing vocals sound better paired w/ Byrne's voice and this album just does not capture the energy and beauty of these songs played from Stop Making Sense.

This escaped me... I listened to it once and didn't care for it. Now I'm falling for this goddamn band. Motherfucking "This Must Be the Place" fuck.

The production is one of the worst I've ever heard. Nevertheless, this albums remains pretty good.

Lot of people say RIL is their best album... I've always thought this is the stronger album. The tunes are better but the funk's still there.

Underrated. Anyway their best album remains "Remain In Light".

t is quite difficult to not move some part of your body while listening to this album. I found this as a vinyl in a pawn shop, among a stack of others, but this was the first one I spun when I got home. I soon fell in love with practically every track.

This one's really underrated. A drum machine has no right being this funky.
