Take Me is a brazillian rock band hailing from Vitória, Espírito Santo, with heavy hardcore emo influences.

Take Me has borned in later ‘98 as Take from the River from the ashes of the seminal hardcore punk band, Kali Yuga and playing, heavily influenced by hardcore emo bands like Samiam and Texas is the Reason, with lyrics in English.

In mid 2000 band’s name changed to Take Me, now with lyrics in Portuguese and less musical experimentation. In 2003, their new lineup added more maturity and a heavier sound in Marcelinho’s drum work. Lineup is Jean (vocal and guitar), Jorginho (bass) and Marcelinho (drums).

Influenced by bands like Foo Fighters, Jawbreaker, Deftones, Sparta, Weezer, among others, they released a well-acclaimed album, Bem-Vindo, Inverno (Welcome, Winter), recorded at Dourado’s studio and produced by Marcello Indio.
