According to frontman and DC Talk member Michael Tait, the band Tait was born in 1996 when he met drummer Chad Chapin. The two performed a cover of the song Curious George, followed by a bevy of Pearl Jam tracks. From this, Tait emerged and added two new members, former Grammatrain member Pete Stewart and former Petra bass player Lonnie Chapin.

  • How do we alert that "So Many Ways" album is tAIT not Tait, and is NOT christian in the least. I scrobbled an entire album based on a recommendation from Last.FM only to find it's not the same band.

  • Never heard of this band before, but found two of their cd's pretty cheap at a music store near where I live and dig their sound and lyrics.
