Love TVotR, but my favorite album of the year is still The Decemberists' "The King is Dead."

Knowing that you seriously believe that makes me feel a lot better about my argument.

I wonder what the band would have to say about people like you.

Am I the only one who had searched the types of light on the album cover?

It's as good as their previous albums, really.

Great album. Combines the more accessible approach of Dear Science with the more slow building Desperate Youth. I still think Cookie Mountain is their best, but this is a worthy addition. Also, they were even better live than when i saw them on the DS tour. Great band.
