Russian Federation (2008 – present)

THEreminGIRL is the music project of the Russian musician, lyricist and singer Anna. The project consists of Anna, her , a bass guitar, keyboards and a computer. She débuted with the album “re: mine” (1 Oct 2010, self-release), which she had been working on for two years.

In 2008, Anna brought all her instruments, the private music hidden inside her, and put it out into the world. It was a path full of doubts and changes. A path that started 20 years ago when as a child, her parents watched her constantly singing and accompanying herself on any instrument she could find. The first step on her way to becoming THEreminGIRL was a classical music education on a piano. Bass guitar became her second love. Always fond of the basses low frequencies, Anna found the sound and inspiration in the unusual ‘Handy Pepper’ bass guitars. These Russian Custom Shop guitars are handmade and developed by master Dm.Yakomulsky on an individual basis. And the third necessary component is the theremin, the invention of scientist L.Thermen. Listening to this musical instrument’s tremendous sound delighted Anna and she wanted to learn to play this unique instrument. In a shop, Anna found an unassembled theremin kit by the company of Robert Moog, inventor of the Moog synthesizer. She was helped by the mad professor and founder of the original guitar stomp-boxes Zalewski, who assembled and soldered the theremin from this box of cardboard, aerials, screws, wires and pieces of wood.

    Привет!) Давно не писал) Я тут недавно узнал что у тебя на аве не миди клава и неичего подобного) А терминвокс) Если чесно по него в первый раз слышу) На нем игрют получаеться не прикосаясь а приблежая руки звук и тон регулируеться)? Чтото типо дережирования)?
