Formerly known as The Complainer & The Complainers or The Complainer and The Complainers (aka TC&TCS). Band is appearing now as THE COMPLAINER only.

THE COMPLAINER (aka TC) is the global-reaching indie pop project of Wojciech Kucharczyk, who started the festivities in 2005 as a solo THE COMPLAINER follow-up to his successful stint (1994-2008) as czar of legendary Polish indie label mik musik. Evolving into a full-force band by 2007, TC consists of a shuffling lineup of a mostly youthful cast of characters, each with a set of special skills (both musical and non-musical), along with some international guests and friends from previous projects. The overall effect is like a superhero cartoon show with each member bringing his or her special talents to form a creative juggernaut. TC shows are all-out energetic affairs, combining acoustic and electronic, common and exotic instrumentation to create a sometimes quirky, sometimes muscular, and strangely catchy amalgamation of sounds, stories, visuals, and motion.

In June 2010 name of the band was changed from The Complainer & The Complainers back to it’s original shape: The Complainer.
As TC&TCS they were apperaing in years 2007-2009.

THE COMPLAINER (and TC&TCS) albums are available worldwide through iTunes, Amazon, and also from various smaller, independent resellers. The group has also released special MP3-only special recordings.

TC (or TC&TCS) performed on such festivals as Off Festival in Myslovice, Unsound in Cracow, Eurocultured in Manchester, Pulse Festival in London, Skif Festival in St. Petersburg, New New Festival in Brno. Besides the band played many concerts all around Poland and abroad in cities such as Berlin, Minsk, Bratislava, Moscow, Miami or Mexico City.
They are also known for doing special art projects such as exhibitions or installations thus giving a new meaning to the “art-rock band” term. Such appearances include: 5th Berlin Biennale/Magazin/Future Perfect, Museum of Unnatural History/Kronika Bytom, Unpredictable Encounters/CTM08 Berlin, Something Must Break/Off Festival 08 and more… To Be Continued
