Although all of T3X!5’s founding members are either deceased or have simply moved on, the “music” is still very much alive today. John Cusack, Sub-Zero and Harry Kissinger could have never imagined the success of the band today (four or five fans in “the Barb” who may or may not be fans when sober); nor could they imagine the band recording five full-length albums. Kinda.

They did. This is their story.

After Cusack left in 2000 (following Sub-Zero’s tragic skateboard accident that cost him his life), the band was left with a very small repertoire and literally no following. Kissinger soon lost interest, leaving the newly recruited ‘Fourteen-billion-trillion-euro Man’, ‘Fuck-a-doodle-doo’ and ‘Once Upon a Shark’ to scrape the remains of the band off the hot cement known as life.

They were soon joined by ‘ Nordhoff High School’ and ‘Oliver Stoned’ when, while wondering around town with their instruments in a drug-induced daze, stumbled into Shark’s garage during a band rehearsal. T3X!5 was born anew.

The band began writing furiously, and soon had enough material for a short live set. They were joined by ‘the Ledge’ and ‘Bass Reverb’ for live performances because, frankly, the music was too god damn complicated to be played live with the fiver person line-up.
