  • I've seen him live couple of weeks ago and he was brilliant. But I was sorely and thoroughly disappointed with the entirety of the concert because of the "shred" guitarist idiot who single-handedly managed to ruin it for me. He was playing mindlessly and without emotion his practice routine of arpeggios in 8/8 meter, rhythmically unimaginative and simplistic, aesthetically so unappealing and in bad taste that I nearly vomited all over the place. IT had no correspondence with the grooves and the atmosphere the rest of the band was creating. I swear, the shred syndrome must be the least musical and the most idiotic phenomenon in music or any art for that matter. And the worst thing of all, they can't even really play, because out of four basic elements of music, which are harmony, melody, rhythm and sound, they basically employ only one. There are so much better musicians out there than that Idiot Roberto or whatever his name was. Idiotic shit would be putting it mildly and benevolently

  • If you like this guy, definately buy hs album BOOM! from 1995. It's what I think Living Colour aspired to be their entire career, but never quite made it. That record of T.M's is as monstrous as seeing him live in Germany! :)
