One of the first Metal albums I ever bought back when I was like 14. This thing is still a beast all these years later. Easily their best record too. Suite Pee, Know, Sugar, Soil, and Mind still blow me the fuck away.

A monster album. Not as perfect as Toxicity or Mezmerize, but man the sheer energy found on this album is just astounding. And Serj is at his wildest and just plain jawdropping on this.

Great debut album. I think they bettered it with Toxicity, but I'd rate this as their second best record overall.

I'm ok with Daron not singing on it. Just my taste. I dislike his voice, total buzzkill in many songs (lonely day for eg, however I like him on prison song). Their best record, this is.

The only thing I can fault this album with is that Daron's not singing, his lead vocals and especially the Serj-Daron vocal interplay being some of my favorite things about System. But, uh, everything else... holy shit, huh?
