SYNC24 is Daniel Segerstad (born Ringström) from the already famous Carbon Based Lifeforms. Started in early years experimenting with tape recorders and simple music players on the Commodore 64 and gradually upgrading equipment and techniques. Having Carbon Based Lifeforms as his main focus with a couple of projects on the side, there’s always room for personal reflections. SYNC24 is the result of sudden impulse of inspiration, late nights without interference from others.

Exactly, after all those years, Source is still the best. Very introspective. Great album to put on when you are alone and need time to think about things or just simply relax. Last track is absolutely sublime. It heals your mind. Deep bass lines get you into another, relaxed state of mind. I do enjoy his "trance" tracks but I prefer that downtempo, ambient side of his music.

"Source" is still, I feel, the current apex of Daniel's musical career, and especially the final trio of tracks on the album is one of my most cherished tools in psychedelic therapeutic work. From A to A is a very nice track for restful periods, more positive than negative, but still quite neutral, a drifting work for recuperation. Woodland (Resurrected), in turn, is perhaps one of the most truly positive and psychologically most reassuring tracks I know, with a vital touch of the dreaminess of age-old childhood memories in it. I have many a time received visions and memories of my mother caring for me when I was little, and other such proofs of how I have always been and still am loved and cared for by many. The title track, Source, is the opposite: it has a powerful touch of uncertain darkness and severity in it, of those murky depths of the psyche where destructive and creepy and traumatic memories reside. This cycle of three tracks can be used to many ends in exploring the psyche.

Sync24 is getting more "trancey" in his newest release "Everything will be ok" but that's alright cause it sounds great!

There's a good interview with Sync24 over on Spacemusic. I'm surprise no one else has posted it here already:

I can pretty confidently say that whatever Ultimae puts out is going to be class. Sync has such a deep sound... it's like floating around in the ocean of nothingness.
