Biography

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Chris Vik started the project “Synaecide” in 2006 following years as a guitarist in local metal bands and producing electronica under the radar. He is now releasing music in a broad range of electronic styles - from twisted dancefloor bangers to glitchy down-tempo beats and everything either side.

His latest latest EP release “Scientifica” is now available to download (free) from: label.idmforums.com

In addition to Scientifica and debut album “Manifestations” (2008), Synaecide’s music has also been featured on various netlabel compilations which are all available for free and listed at:
