    At least I'm not the only one who thinks the Choruses are crappy. All the songs are fucking amazing. Except, they all have shitty choruses. Oh, well. Can't really hate for that one minute detail. Amazing album.

    1st impressions: nice intro! Classic SymX so far. Nice. Chorus is crappy (as if you need a chorus in prog anyway). Bridge is classic. Breakdown didn't do much for me. Boring bit follows. Solo's pretty good. Really, really, not a fan of this repeating chorus stuff. Hated it on Paradise Lost, not a fan of it now. Overall: pretty decent, puts me in mind of their older, excellent stuff but not in a repetitive way. Doesn't leave me with the same sense of awe that I got hearing their other stuff for the first time, though.

    Kick-ass tune. They definitely deem to be going for a symphonic light approach on this album (even more than PL), which is excellent (and also far easier to reproduce live). I like how they heavily used keyboard leads to fill out their sound instead of using the usual tracking.
