Swivek began in 1999 as an offshoot of electronic afficiandos Orange Television in Couer d’Alene, Idaho. Releasing 2 self titled electro CDRs with Patrick English of OTV, singer/songwriter Bradley Jacobson packed his bags and headed to sunny California in 2000.

More CDs from Swivek were released as Swivek began to cultivate from electronic grunginess to a more rocking state of mind - through seven independantly released CDs, Swivek’s sound continues to move forward cultivating electronics, garage rock, and electroclash into a new electronic punkiness.

From the pop punk of “Happiness Is Hard” (2004), the rage induced pissiness of “Army Fatigue” (2005), the rock blitz of “darkness + light” (2006) and the poppy love fest of “Into The Blue” (2007), Brad and Swivek have hit every corner of the DIY electro world.

The newest album EVERYBODY HATES YOU takes a more electro punk fusion to its core including rock guitar stomp anthems, electro pop and even Devin Tait of Shitting Glitter contributing vocals.
