Swedish For Beginners are a Swedish pop orchestra, playing guitar-based indie pop with a lot of electronica and vocal harmonies, described at one point as the affinity between The Smiths and The Beach Boys.

In October of 2007, Swedish For Beginners performed at the prestigious In The City festival in Manchester. One of 57 unsigned bands from all over the world, SFB was the only Swedish band to play at the festival.

In 2009, the debut album Facts and Fabrications was released on Wonderland Records. In July the same year, Swedish for Beginners performed at the Arvika Festival in Sweden, where the band - according to the festival’s site - made the audience “dance with an energy rarely seen”.

Facts and Fabrications can be bought from Wonderlandrecords.com, Klicktrack.com, Cdon.com, and more. It’s also available on Spotify.
