About this album

While the “Swallow (Horror Pt. I)” linked above doesn’t have a “play full track” like the others on the album, the alternately-tagged version linked from Plague of Butterflies, which is tagged slightly differently, does: Swallow

Edited to add: Weird, my tags that were intended to link didn’t take. Anyway, go to “Albums” —> “Plague of Butterflies” —> “Swallow”, and you can get to the “full-track-available” version of the one song on “The Morning Never Came” that doesn’t have a full track linked from here (as of the time I wrote this. )

Dark but still a beautiful atmosphere in this album. The keyboards are the responsible for the magical aura around this.

More beautiful than it is depressing. Thus is sheer beauty, I'm amazed.

Incredibly good release. I love the melancholic and gloomy feel that most of the songs give the listener. Hauntingly beautiful atmosphere, for which that splendid artwork contributes. This atmosphere perfectly fits with the name of the album and afore-mentioned artwork.

Through Her Silvery Body, Hold This Woe and The Morning Never Came are already enough for this album to be still their best. I love those depressing, melancholic tunes. But also loving Out Of This Gloomy Light.

THis is a very good doom album. Especially the guitar harmonies are very unusual and vocals are guttoral and powerful. Sadly, anything else from this that I've heard is very bleak and weak in comparison.

Excellent album. It took a little while to grow on me since I first got used to the demo versions of some of the songs on the 'Plague of Butterflies' EP. That meant that this album always felt disjointed until now when I love it. It's astonishing that they started off this amazing and just continued being excellent.
