    There are points in the husker du and sugar careers where things get so sanitized I can't listen to it. I can't say the same for the pixies although they both have amazing high points.

    oh and fwiw, Bob Mould and Black Francis were pretty good friends at one time. There's a 1991 interview from Guitar Player magazine where they "interview" each other, and it's pretty much a love-fest between the two of them over who is more genius or the better guitar player, etc. Bob has said in the past that he stole the bassline of Debaser for this song because the Pixies sure stole enough from Husker Du, he could take something back.

    lol, the Pixies are shit compared to Sugar. In fact, they shouldn't even be compared at all since Sugar is leagues ahead in every way imaginable. Oh, and this song rocks. I think I'll go listen to it again... yeah that's a good idea.

    Cracker of a song this one... I esp. love the intro guitar and that water sound... actually the guitars throughout the whole song are very EPIC. I would have danced to this one many times at a few indie clubs in my early-mid 20's, Good Times real Good Times
