Why the hell are people hailing Tame Impala as Perth's gift to music when Sugar Army and Voltaire Twins are the obvious highlights of the current Perth music scene? [2] yeah, its damn annoying.

Summertime Heavy's just as good as The Parallels Amongst Ourselves. Awesome stuff. Why the hell are people hailing Tame Impala as Perth's gift to music when Sugar Army and Voltaire Twins are the obvious highlights of the current Perth music scene?

Every bit of unwarranted, bullshit attention Tame Impala are getting on a national and international scale belongs to this band. [2]

Please play in Melbourne some time in the near future. I need to see a non-festival performance for you guys or I will go mad. I swear, the Melbourne support is vast enough for you to sell out a venue. No excuse not to!

The Parallels Amongst Ourselves is one of the only albums I can listen to over and over again and not get tired of it. Saw these guys at BDO in January and they were amazing! Thanks for producing such amazing music and keep it coming!

I won't agree with the 'best band out of Australia' - that's a toss-up with me since I listen to so much but they are good. Like VERY good...

EVER? That's quite a big call to make. Do you have empirical evidence to prove this hypothesis?? As much as I do love their wonderful tunes, I wouldn't go as far as to say they are the best. We haven't seen enough from them to know.

  • RadioheadFACE

They are definitely the best band to ever come out of Australia.

No band should be allowed to be this good. It promotes widespread hearing damage because it's impossible not to listen! Thank you for existing, Sugar Army.

Pretty fail attempt at trolling to be honest. Let's just leave it there and let the band be talked about for a change. Album is still as good as it was when I first heard it, very enjoyable.
