There are two bands with the name Suarez: one from Belgium and one from Argentina.

Belgian acoustic/pop band Suarez is a four-piece act composed of three folk musicians from Madagascar – brothers Max and Pata Randriamanjava, and their cousin Dada Ravalison, who play lead guitar, bass, and drums – along with lead singer and rhythm guitarist Marc Pinilla (a Belgian from a Spanish family). They all met after the trio from Madagascar came to Mons, France for a world music contecst, whch their band at the time N’java won. The songs on their 2010 debut album, “On attend” features well crafted melodies and catchy hooks. Their are signed with France on Remark/Univeal records and their website is

Argentinean experimental Latin rock band Suarez got involved in the local scene in the early ’90s, releasing their debut album called Hora De No Ver in 1994 and getting the video for the single “Morirían” rotated by MTV Latino. After issuing 1995’s Horrible, the band went on tour for the first time around Argentina and Chile. In 1996, filmmakers Bill Nieto and Miguel Mitlaj produced a short movie called Cenando Con Suarez, which based on the recording sessions for the album Galope. In 1999, the four-piece act independently released Rio Paraná and Excursiones.
