Biography

The newest sensation on the Baltimore live electronica scene, stushido. is already turning heads. Since their live debut in May 2008, the band has made a quick impact on the scene, hopping on to the lineups of regional festivals, sharing the stage with international phenoms Ozric Tentacles, 2020Soundsystem, The Egg, sharing the stage with national touring acts such as Toubab Krewe, Future Rock, EOTO and Pretty Lights, and saving babies left and right.

Stuart Lemley blends elements of trance with myriad global styles to achieve a truly unique, high-energy groove with his bass guitar, keyboards, and loopstation. Zachary Paul Mattix joins him on electric guitar, with Alvin Wheeler holding down drums and percussion. Together they deliver an unforgettable live experience, dubbed “the dance party at the end of the universe,” and never fail to take the party to a new level.
