Oslo, Norway (2009 – 2012)

Strike a Match (most commonly referred to as SAM) were a band from Oslo, Norway with members from Damage Control, Death Is Not Glamorous, Soulfire, Subject to Change, Ded Skølz, Le Pest and Black Mask. In 2012 they changed their name to Modern Love. They played their first concert at Humla in November 2009. In february 2011 a six-track demo (recorded in 2009) was finally made available through http://strikeamatch.bandcamp.com/, http://www.strikeamatch.no/ , on last. fm and as a cassette tape limited to 50 copies. In march 2012 a CD version of the demo was released by the Russian label Terra Liberta Records. Their first concert as Modern Love was on May 22nd at Byggeklossen.
