Strange Dave is a comedic Surf Rock instrumentalist and vocalist from Long Island, New York (USA) who successfully produced at least eleven (11) live surf rock shows in New York during the summer of 2005 having worked with such bands as Mister Neutron, Mr. Action and The Boss Guitars, and The East Coast Tremors.
In addition to his work with the Top 40 surf rock outfit The All Star Surf Band, Mr. Rosenberg is also a singer songwriter that has pushed Surf Music further along the lines of Jack Johnson and Matt Costa.
“In My Car”, which combines hip hop, R&B, rock, and surf music, has become the most downloaded Surf Rap song on the internet, giving Strange Dave a loyal following following online.
Currently at work on his next album “And Here’s To You Mr. Rosenberg”, he ocassionally tours live on Long Island and in New York City at such places as Westbury Music Fair (aka Northfork Theater at Westbury), The C Note, The Apocalypse Lounge, and Otto’s Shrunken Head.
