Biography

The artist was born in March 26, 1966 in Anaheim, California. He picked up his first guitar at the age of 16 and has been playing off and on ever since. He is self taught and gained most of his influence and motivation from his musically talented brothers and sisters as well as musical icons such as Stevie Ray V., Jimmy Page, Almond Brothers, Hendrix and much, much more.

This song was created by the artist, learning how to use his MD4S 4 track digital recorder.

The Drum machine comes from a DigiTech RP100 foot pedal or an old Casio Keyboard. This was recorded on track 1 of the MD4.

An Epiphone guitar was used by adjusting the mixer on the MD4 for the basic bass riff for the jam. This was cut on track 2 of the MD4.

Again the Epiphone guitar was used to record the rhythm on track 3 of the MD4.

And of course the lead was recorded on track 4 using the Epiphone as well.

This song has had no modifications to it. The artist worked for almost two days to figure out how to interface the MD4S with his home computer as well as trying to figure out how to run the Music Creator 3 program. Once that was accomplished an encoder program was needed via online at $19.95 to convert the song to a MP3. Victory at last, so once the MP3 version set up and (as fast as humanly possible) this song was uploaded to Last FM. So artist next mission, should he choose to accept, is to remix the song to clean it up a tad. Got to love the learning experience part of this. So enjoy for now and be looking for a cleaned up version later.

What’s with the Name of this song?

Well there was not a name for this song before entering into this process. After listening to the song for almost two days to get it up to Last FM, certain little things in the song kind of stuck to artist ribs a bit. Was it the Bass riff part of the song, or part of the keyboard, if you listen carefully, (it will probably be more noticeable when the song gets cleaned up). It is subtle sounding like the classic arcade game Space Invaders. Wanting to be cool at this point…It then popped! Space Invaders!

The next half of the name; because the song basically repeats itself throughout… Run on Sentence came to mind. So there you have it… Space Invader - Run on Sentence. The best he could come up with in a pinch.

This song was really fun for him to do, but to be more serious for a second. This took several hours to put together while alone in a garage. First he had to build some self confidence that he could do a lead riff. He’s mostly been a rhythm guy. So it may not be Steve Via, or Joe Saurian, it’s Chris Stone! And damn it, people like him! It was a good sense of accomplishment. More to come!

A special thanks has to go out to the brothers and sisters of inspiration, Buckley, Jeff, Mark, Tim, and Jene’. The fire has been lit again after several months of not playing. Peace!
