    @jumhed, I think the grunge scene was far from 'dying on it's arse' when 'Core' was released in September 1992. In fact it was released the same day as Alice In Chains seminal grunge masterpiece 'Dirt'. I do agree with you that they rock though!

    They get abuse in the press because they were a deriative grunge band who rode in hugely backed by a major/corporate record label as the scene was dying on it's arse. 'Once you see a bandwagon, it's too late.' Maybe not too late for success, but too late for respect/intergrity. That said, they definitely rock.

    Dean Deleo is one of the most underrated guitarists of my generation. The outro is excellent also... Seeing them live again in June. Such a good band - not sure why they get abuse in the press?

    I used to sit and complain how i messed up my last chance to ever see these guys live way back when they broke up originally but now they are back together and doing some shows and i promise i wont screw things up again.
