Stone Mecca is a Soul/R&B/Funk band composed of 9 members from Los Angeles, California. They’re first single The Walk was featured in the 2nd episode of Spike TV’s animated show, Afro Samurai, as well as the television show’s soundtrack produced by RZA. The group is an official Wu-Tang Affiliate. They released their first album, First Contact, in February of 2008.
They’ve played and toured with other artists such as Les Nubians, Del The Funky Homosapien, RZA and Wu-Tang Clan.
They are currently touring with RZA for his 2008 summer Digi Snacks tour; performing many of the RZA’s tracks using live instruments.
