It's been years since I've come across a band that makes my head spin like this one does. Will explore further!

https://soundcloud.com/bryce-bruder/stolen-babies-a-year-of-judges-bass-improv I made this as a dedication to Rani Sharone's awesome composing/bass playing skills, hehe

Come to Russia please!!!!!!!
19 Dec 2014, 5:36pm
Their bassist is seriously funking me up...I hear a lot of punk rock and rockabilly in his playing, too!
9 Dec 2014, 6:16am
Naught was fucking awesome, fuck the haters, their music tastes sucks. Naught is Snob approved!

No way! It's the War Princess... She's on earth.

I love how this group is the best entry level avant-garde metal band...silly, but they have substance, crazy experimentation yet put together in very accessible ways...I think their ability to be crazy and quirky without it being too much for many is why they're pretty successful for avant-garde metal.

The Conjuration - "Surreal" (Remastered) One man extreme experimental metal insanity! I guarantee you've never heard anything quite like it. Free download/streaming here: https://theconjuration.bandcamp.com/

Hah, now everybody's writing how they don't understand hating Naught. It's the first time I've heard of any criticism. To me it was always awesome.

Didn't realize Naught had such a bad rep....god no matter what band there are always bitching about something. Can't we just fucking enjoy the music and stop being so opinionated and expecting perfection? Lol I think Naught is actually better tbh
23 Jul 2014, 4:27am
Were a cool band to listen to initially, but on revisiting them, I think they might need more attention. Awesome mix of tones, this is basically the best gothic metal/dark cabaret I've heard!
21 Jul 2014, 8:09am
where, oh where are they now
7 May 2014, 4:13pm

Didn't her band tour with them? https://www.facebook.com/pages/M-Veen/400727383397693

Listening to Naught for the first time right now and I honestly don't understand everybody's gripes with it. Sure they didn't 100% revolutionize their sound but...so what? While I don't believe a band should stagnate, I also see nothing wrong in a band honing their sound. Look at the new releases from Haken and In Vain last year; still the same style as the previous albums, yet tweaked and more refined into their true vision, thus producing two albums which showcase their respective bands in top form. I see Naught as just that; a refinement on TBSA. Even so, it's pretty distinct from TBSA already.

Lucky me. I've never found all that shitty disadvantages "Naught" supposedly has. I enjoyed it from first listen, and still do.
5 Aug 2013, 12:09am
I like Naught now. <3

Love musical video by Stolen Babies on song: "Second Sleep".

I do like Naught. I think it's much more avant-garde than TBSA, and some songs are really incrdible.

12 Jun 2013, 4:40pm
Good to know, since they suck in the studio now.. Giving Naught a chance again the other day, and its goddamn embarrasing, considering all the talent in the band.
1 Jun 2013, 10:37pm
Saw these guys live a few months ago, amazing show and I highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance.

But I enjoy having opinions.
27 Mar 2013, 8:49am
I truly love this album. Methinks you people need to have lower expectations, and appreciate something for what it is.
27 Mar 2013, 3:11am
V Couldn't agree with this anymore. Disappointing after such a long wait.
13 Mar 2013, 2:01am
the new album is incredibly disappointing. The first one was incredible and Naught is too far below that bar to be considered acceptable in my eyes.
12 Mar 2013, 10:27pm
pretty boring music...
24 Jan 2013, 1:44am
Was it worth the wait? I'm gonna say yes.

What balls these guys have.. Releasing their second album 6 years after the debut with no progressions at all (Besides better production quality than on Squabbles). Nothing Avant-Garde or progressive about them.
2 Nov 2012, 4:03am
Wow. Had no idea they had a new album already. Finally!
26 Oct 2012, 9:46pm
the new album for me is 8.5 out 10 with songs 7-13 being better than the first 6.
21 Oct 2012, 1:00am
I've been looking forward to the new album for so long, I had read a lot of people's comments about how amazing it is too which intrigued me even more. I haven't heard it in it's entirety yet but from what I have heard, and I am very surprised I'm saying this, I don't like it. There's no structure to the songs, it just sounds like random noises and I haven't heard a catchy song yet. I'll still buy the new album to listen to it properly but I'm not sure if it'll grow on me....
18 Oct 2012, 2:54pm
Had a blast opening up for these fine specimens with Something Involving A Monkey in Cleveland! Great live show.
11 Oct 2012, 9:28am
man I am liking the new album a lot
