Biography

Still Blue Still Turning is a New York-based duo focused on the intersection of ambient music, shoegaze, minimalism, & the visual forms of sculpture & painting. Their latest release is Hurricanes, a 119-minute ambient collection richened by the voice of Aimee Bhatia and the memory of Troy Davis. The band began work in the fall of 2009 with a studio album entitled Simone, which turned out to be a transition from the band members’ previous work in shoegaze toward the ambient, minimalist material for which they are better known.
