Stevie Nicks deveria ser um nome muito mais cultuado do que é, aqui no Brasil muito poucas pessoas a admiram, mas eu escuto nitidamente sua personalidade em diversas cantoras do main stream atual. Seu estilo e sua voz me encantaram desde o primeiro momento em que a escutei. “Bella Donna” seu álbum de estreia foi gravado no período de intervalo de sua banda, Fleetwood Mac, e em diversos lugares do mundo chegou ao topo das execuções. Com muita sofisticação e poesia o álbum trás lindas canções como a faixa título, e também nas canções em dueto conta com a participação de Tom Petty nos vocais e na composição de “Stop Dragin’ My Heart Around” e Don Healey em “Leather and Lace”. A empolgante “Edge of Seventeen” tem o sotaque do rock que estava por vir nos anos oitenta, e fechando o trabalho a linda “The Highwayman”, que tem o seu todo o seu charme interpretativo. Pra quem gosta de pop e não conhece, vale a pena correr atrás de ouvir essa voz única sem concorrente até hoje. Te amo Stevie!

Tom had very little to do with this album. If anyone deserves the credit it's Jimmy Iovine. And Stevie of course, since she wrote every single song on this record except for Stop Draggin'.
