1)Steve Walsh has been a singer and songwriter for the progressive rock group Kansas from 1970 up through the present. His vocals and keyboard playing are mostly associated with songs like
Carry On Wayward Son,
Dust in the Wind or
Point of Know Return.
Although best known as lead singer and keyboardist for Kansas, he has three solo albums and two albums in the early 1980s with the band Streets.
In 1980, while taking a break from Kansas, he had a solo hit called
Every Step Of The Way.
Born on the 15th of June in 1951 in St. Louis, MO, Steve was adopted by his parents and grew up in St. Joseph, MO. Steve presently lives in Atlanta, GA, with his wife and two children.
He is a career musician and he makes his living writing music. His profession does not leave too much time for hobbies, but he loves to share his time with his family.
They enjoy activities like swimming and gymnastics and Steve himself tries to jog on a regular basis.
2) Steve Walsh (b: 1959- d:4 July 1988) was a disc jockey. He died from a heart attack aged 29 following a car crash in Ibiza, Spain. He worked as a dj both in clubs and various radio stations ( Radio Invicta, JFM, County Sound) In 1987 he covered the Fatback Band song ‘I found lovin’
