Steven McCutcheon (born 15 January 1972, Surrey, England), also known as Steve Mac, is a songwriter, record producer and owner of Rokstone Studios in London.

Mac first learned the piano at the age of 8. However his interest in music as a career did not begin until he did work experience as a teenager with a producer called Nigel Wright. This was in his dad’s office, a publishing company called Scratch Music. He also was encouraged to pursue a career as a producer after joining a band at school that need a keyboard player. Although the band didn’t get anywhere this experience cemented his decision to become a producer.

Mac has received three BMI USA Writers awards, won MMF Producer Of The Year and also Record Of The Year three times. In 2009, Mac was nominated for Producer of the Year at the Music Producers Guild Awards.
