Steve Hughes is an instrumental guitarist from Caledonia, Ontario, Canada. Having played as a supporting musician for a variety of bands that needed some help, as well as taking in part in many bands and musical projects of his own design. Releasing his debut offering, Hughes’ debut 6 track EP Crack in the Sky to iTunes, which he now has begun offerring it as a free download to get this music out there.

“Steve Hughes, born july 19th, 1985, began playing guitar at age 17. After quickly developing a passion for the instrument he and his brother, Aaron Hughes, formed band “nil” which was an experiment in instrumental rock. At age 18, they released a demo cd for “nil” .
Through the course of his life he knew it was going to be a huge part of himself. After trying to play in bands and never quite finding one that fit, Steve decided to begin to write an instrumental guitar oriented rock album….Due to release soon. Thankful to his friends and family who have been with him in guidance and support every step of the way, he claims he would have never been able to do it without these amazing people being in his life.
“I feel that the guitar is now a part of me, like a limb…” Steve explains. His music is a direct result of what feelings, passion, and motivation can do when played through the electric guitar.
