Steps were a UK pop group that achieved a series of chart singles between 1997 and 2001. Their name was based around a simple marketing gimmick: each of their music videos were choreographed, and the dance steps were included with most of their single releases. Steps formed on 7 May 1997 and disbanded on 26 December 2001. In total Steps have sold over 25 million records, including 15 million albums worldwide.
Members were: Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Lisa Scott-Lee, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian ‘H’ Watkins

So I really liked this band when I was younger, but living in the U.S., I just had that Step One compilation they released here... Now I wanted to hear some of their songs, so was watching their videos for the first time in my life... kind of ruined it for me. I wanted to hear After the Love Has Gone, but I think I'll just have to buy the compilation so I don't have to see them dance.

I miss this band lots and though I dont have many plays of them in my playlist (29), they still played a massive part growing up, but growing up also changed my music tastes, but I'll still listen to them, cause I can really walk out on a band that played a part of me growing up! :) Please get back together Steps!

@ Clurr_x: sadly it's not the end of the 90's anymore : ( I miss this band! They should play some Steps on the radio for the sake of old times! Obviously growing up changes your music taste but this brings back many happy memories of a more innocent time! Tragedy was such an epic tune for the day and no doubt infuenced alot of music i currently listen to! (Female fronted metal ftw) /nostalgia <3
