Last year, Poison
came through Massachusetts on their 20th Anniversary Tour and really blew me away. This year Poison came through again, this time with a reassembled Ratt
and Bam Margera
label signed Vains of Jenna
and I jumped at the chance to see them again. They did not disappoint.
I suppose the biggest surprise was Vains of Jenna who came on stage fired up and kept it going for the remainder of their six song set. This band would have totally fit in the glam metal
scene and I wish there were more bands like this out there playing today. I had never heard these guys before so it was all new and I was not expecting much especially after last years Poison opener, Endeverafter
left a real sour taste in my mouth. Check Vains of Jenna out however you can. Their cover of Refugee
was the stand out as far as I'm concerned and if they can groove to play more songs like this they have a bright future.
