Biography
Steinkind is Phil J. and Sàndor F., who first met in 2005. Both went autonomous from each other to an Electro-Industrial Party, which ended up in a fight, some people, but also Phil and Sàndor, got arrested. While sitting in remand, they had time to talk and recognised both had more in common, than deformed faces. Both had quite a lot musical experiences in different projects and bands, but both never where satisfied until that day. Back in normal life, Phil J. and Sàndor F. started meeting once in a while, drinking, talking and abusing synthesisers. They noticed: it works, Steinkind was born – and it’s alive! This project was yelling for hard work and professional structures, to push their style: well arranged songs, timeless and danceable electronic music versus hard, uncompromising lyrics and straight in your face singing. And not to forget a technical realisation at it’s best. After a long “experimental” night in early 2006, Steinkind moved into their new studio and started out to raise their voices!
Steinkind was sired drunken and in the absence of sanity and logic!

The first two albums were just great. Trink Mich, Deutschland Brennt, Gottkomplex, Kindgott, Blutzeit - I can read the list down, if you want. "Etappe 011" is a different story. It has two good songs ("Es wird zeit", and "Es Muss") but apart from that the songs are just okay. I had it like a week in my CD player. It is another style. There is not enough energy for me. The lyrics are better in some ways, but not as extreme and angry anymore (anger could describe it, maybe). The first two albums were perfect to scare your grandma, but on the other hand had intelligence and something to think about in it.

I like some songs of the new album. But like the other two albums, they just can't keep me excited for too long. Some listenings here and there, but then a gap of a few months. Still an ok band compared to other modern ebm bands.

Wow, I am new to this band, I was blown away by Es Wird Zeit on a goth/industrial compilation, so I tried the new album and man does it SUCK! So disappointed that no other song could touch that quality...

I've just got the 'Galle, Gift & Größenwahn' album and even though I can't understand most the words, I still find it slightly humorous as well as quite good XD Also the album 'Vom Hier Im Jetzt' reminds me of Oomph!'s first album, 'Oomph!'
