THIS IS ONE OF THE FIRST TRACKS I PLAYED ON LASTFM WHEN I FIRST LOGGED ON IN FALL 2009. THOSE WERE THE GOOD OLE DAYS WHEN YOU COULD PLAY FULL TRACKS ON LASTFM , AND, YOU WERE NOT ASSAULTED BY A COMMERCIAL AFTER EVERY 2 OR 3 TRACKS! LASTFM HAS BECOME CRAPFM !!!

Wow, take me waaaay back! Heard this Starcastle song played on WNEW-FM (NYC) back when it came out and bought the LP because of the similarities to YES. Enjoying the trip back in time.....

I saw these guys as a warm up band in a concert (I can't remember the headliner for sure). They did a great job and I bought two of their albums within a week.

Huh ... Maybe it's just me. I don't hear anything Styx(ish) But an almost carbon copy of Yes ... Good music though ... @ ScottMcCloud From all accounts that I have heard about Boston live back then. I imagine that Starcastle was the show !

Nothing wrong with some nice, light proggy rock... this is what I imagine the illegitimate baby of Styx and Yes would sound like.

Saw them open on Boston's 1st tour in 1976 in Kalamazoo, MI...clone tag kinda bugs me, but tight musicianship none the less...pressured (read screwed) by label into changing their sound to be more "radio friendly" in later releases...that never works

this is why I like last.fm. I first heard Starcastle back in the day - 70s, 80s? I had the album and enjoyed it, in my spacey Yes days. Now I hear it again, good memories. Good music.
