I haven't been able to get into her other records as of yet, but this is lovely.

first time I've heard this album, being a fan of her other work. I'm liking it a lot so far, there's more of an overt accessibility and - I guess - 'lightness' to it, but there's still a lot of the distinctive St. Vincent-ness that's explored more on later albums. Really love the strings, too. Can't go wrong with well-produced strings.

Marry Me... It's really-good-but-not-flooring. It's the misfit St. Vincent record. Love it, but the overproduction often buries the songs. I'm still obsessed, though, so that must count for something.

I can't believe it took me this long to start listening to this album, even with having (and loving) "Actor" for a couple of years. What was I thinking in '07?
