The best to place to start if you've never heard Squarepusher before? Certainly not, this pushes into territory that challenges listeners who have been listening to him for years. I remember the first time I listened to this, as it was my first exposure to him soon after its release, and its entirety it challenged my notion of what music is meant to be. Even now there are tracks that are difficult to digest. I still have difficulty listening to it in its entirety, but I mean that out of respect for its greatness. It contains some of his greatest material, and in some ways I think it to be the ultimate representation of his career. I still prefer to listen to Hard Normal Daddy, but as a whole this is beyond that. It is transcendental.
