This song is awesome. What I've heard is that this song is actually about Kurt Cobain and his daughter, Francis Bean Cobain, hence the name and the reason why it sounds Nirvana-ish. "I have her blood inside my heart" reveals this relationship he has with his daughter. Makes the lyrics even more meaningful, personally.

Also, the Nirvana thing probably's due to the slightly hoarse singing - something Cobain excelled at - and it's got the same forward momentum as The National's best songs, but apart from that, yeah well, it's a Spoon song y'all.
