Sun so bright that I'm nearly blind
Fool as I'm workin' it out in my mind
Warm as the dope runnin' down my spine
But I don't care 'bout you and I've got nothin' to do

Yes, Roskilde '98 bootleg is still the best version.

Brilliant. Just brilliant. Listening to the Roskilde '98 bootleg right now, beautiful guitars.

The first part of this song is ostensibly about being wired to the gills on heroin. The second is a brilliant and sardonic call-and-response of optimistic speculation followed by cynical counterpoint. The lyrics are set against the lush and ethereal production for which J. Spaceman is so famous. As a whole the song holds a tenuous balance between great hope and deep doubt, a lot like what it feels to be in love.

first impression: it sounds like exile-era stones if it was produced by eno in the late 70s

It's curious the lyrical contrast between this song and Ladies and Gentlemen. Both are genius and awesome in their own way!
